I feel like capturing something genuine today, the day I got this website online.

I’ve been diagnosed with bipolar 1 for over two decades now. It has been a very challenging journey for me. I’ve read that most people have one or two manic episodes in their lives. I think I’m on episode 15 or 16 right now. Most of these episodes came with being hauled off to the mental hospital, but I’ve been able to avoid that with the last three. My previous episode, which ended maybe a week or two ago, was significantly different. Before I was deep into the weeds of the episode, I had been focusing all of my energy on understanding “spirit business”. Spirit business, for me, was focusing on matters of the spirit before all other things. I’ve always thought mania and spirit were intimately connected and this last manic episode was the first time I was able to see this connection with 20/20 vision.

I let the “spirit of mania” guide many of my decisions. I should be clearer. I allowed spirit to guide my decisions, and mania helped me process what spirit wanted. What did the spirits want? They wanted an abandoned temple near my house cleaned out and put to use, so that’s exactly what I did. I didn’t have permission from the landowners, or from the police or the government. I was working off a spiritual decree. In the end, this spiritual decree overrode private property, police, and government, and I received approval to run the temple.

The temple already had the Black Panther Bodhisattva and Guanyin. I was excited about installing Old Dirty Bastard (Osirus) to immortalize him. Why ODB? I’ve been a disciple of ODB for a long time. I had a powerful affinity to him because… huh… now that I think about it, he’s the only example I had of someone as crazy as me! That special genius brand of crazy that is really struggling with the bullshit design of the world we’re in and doesn’t want to play any of the games.

This project is the creation of the spirits of Professor Pitt and Old Dirty Bastard. Saint ODB is one of the spirits that helped clean out that temple, and Professor Pitt is in the spirit of this website. Without these two spirits, none of this exists.
